Student Services

Our Student Services team works closely with CFL staff and families to support the learning needs of all students. To jointly foster student achievement and well-being, we offer a range of universal supports and targeted interventions. Our Educational Assistants are assigned by grade level to support students’ learning needs. For elementary and junior high levels, they provide targeted support in the areas of literacy and numeracy.

Family School Liaison Worker

Our Family School Liaison Worker (FSLW) plays an important role in supporting students through the unique challenges of online learning. This includes helping with social and emotional well-being, mental health, academic skills like time management and organization, as well as building confidence and self-esteem. The FSLW also partners with parents to navigate the ups and downs of learning at home, offering guidance and support along the way.

Family Service Coordinators

Our Family Service Coordinators provide individualized supports to families by providing assistance with registrations, answering general questions and those related to student programs, and directing parents to appropriate supports.

Career and Academic Advising

Our Student Services Team is here to support students in effectively planning their academic path and preparing for the future. We provide guidance on course selection and creating academic plans. Our team assists in exploring career paths, post-secondary education options, and preparing college applications. We also offer resources like scholarship information, career exploration opportunities and guidance, and comprehensive resources through our online platform.

Additionally, we recognize students' achievements through academic, leadership, and community service awards. To celebrate milestones, we host a graduation ceremony for all students completing 12 years of schooling. Our program is committed to helping you succeed academically and navigate your future career path.
